ANDOVER — Superintendent John Lavoie is pleased to announce that the Baker-Polito Administration has awarded Greater Lawrence Tech a $385,000 grant to train adult students for employment in high-demand, high-growth sectors. The grant also seeks to create career pathways and opportunities for underserved and underrepresented populations in the Commonwealth. The grant is funded by the Career and Technical Initiative fiscal year 2021 appropriation through the Workforce Skills Cabinet and is administered by the Commonwealth Corporation.
Greater Lawrence Technical School Receives $100,000 Grant to Grow Career and Technical Education Partnership Programs
LAWRENCE — Greater Lawrence Technical School was the first in the state to offer “after dark” programs to address the growing demand for Career and Technical Education (CTE) among students, and has just been awarded $100,000 from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to expand that initiative.
